Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore is the world famous carved memorial of former American presidents in South Dakota, US. In May 2009, became the first international site to be digitally recorded as part of the Scottish Ten.
The Scottish Ten team worked in partnership with CyArk, the National Park Service and local specialists on this groundbreaking project. The resulting 3D data is now being used in the conservation, management and archaeological understanding of the site.
In 2012 the National Park Service unveiled an online virtual tour of Mount Rushmore and the Hall of Records.
